There wasn’t much he could do, the issue is still ongoing. But, he did all he could as the issue wasn’t currently on going when he got there
Outstanding Inspection Knowledge
Jeff - Hilliard, OH
We hired Pickerington Heating & Cooling to inspection a home air conditioning system in a house that we are considering to purchase. The individual that Pickerington sent to do the inspection was outstanding. He was very knowledgeable and confirmed our suspicions that the system was not working properly. He was able to identify the problem and present us with different options for fixing the AC. He walked us through every aspect of his inspection, gave us all of the options, and did not do any 'higher pressure' sales pitch to us. His inspection provided us the information we need to discussion remediation solutions with the seller. Thank you Pickerington.

Best experience with heating and and air provider ever
I completed furnace tune-up and safety check and found that the return air filter was dirty and I replaced return air filter. I also found that inducer motor is pulling slightly higher than normal amps and that the bearings were starting to create a squealing noise found the inducer motor is starting to go bad and notified the customer being the age of the furnace in the cost to replace the part would recommend replacing the system rather than repairing also that they have a heat pump they do not use. I also found that current AC/heat pump is way under size for the home they currently have a 2 1/2 ton AC/heat pump they need a 4 ton AC/heat pump for their home in order to properly heat and cool it. The system is operational upon departure.
I completed a diagnostic. Upon arrival customer stated the outdoor unit would not turn on, tech called for cooling and found that capacitor for condenser has failed reading 0/0 out of 35/5, with customer permission capacitors replaced, condenser is cleaned, and dirty filter has been removed, cycled system and confirm that system is cooling as best as it can but its only cooling with a 14° drop, explain to customer that system is beginning to lose its efficiency but it's cooling as best as it can at this time. System is cooling upon departure.
I arrived on site to perform an inspection of the customers air conditioning unit. During the inspection I found that the blower motor had gone out. Due to the age of the unit and the cost of the replacement motor, the customer opted to get an install of a new unit.
I arrived on site to perform an inspection of a Bryant air conditioning unit. During the inspection I found that the unit was low on R-22 Refrigerant. Due to the age of the R-22 Refrigerant and the age of the unit, I temporarily refilled the unit and the customers opted to get an estimate for a new system. Unit was temporarily running at this time.
