Air duct cleaning and furnace tune up
Upon arrival, I found I was unable to replace the blower motor due to the condensate trap being glued in place and was in the way. I informed the customer we would have to uninstall the condensate trap and install a new one along with the new blower motor. Customer understands. System is not operational upon departure.
I found the blower capacitor was below specs and needed replaced. I also found the flame sensor needed cleaned. Customer authorized work and parts were replaced and cleaned. I found the ignitor will need to be replaced soon, but not yet. System is operational upon departure.
I performed a diagnostic on a 20 year + Trane 80% gas furnace. Upon arrival I found furnace not operational. After further diagnostic discovered that the blower motor has failed, it is a 29 year old furnace, recommend furnace replacement. Customer is all set for a Tuesday morning installation. Furnace not operational at departure.
